Pepper Plant Be Poppin’
Every day I go out and get to see these survivors thriving. It’s quite the thrill. With the late start they were given, it would take a miracle for them to produce peppers before the season is over. This is a case of enjoying the journey, not the destination. We’ve moved beyond the baby leaves, and each step towards maturity is a rousing victory.
Overwatered Rosemary
Up on the covered porch, I just noticed the tips of my rosemary leaves are turning brown. According to the internet, this likely means the plant is exposed to too much humidity (almost definitely, but unfortunately not within my power to control outside) and/or overwatering (also a high possibility, considering I watered the plant right before noticing the leaves). I might try moving the rosemary to the back of the house. It’s uncovered, so it’ll take on more rainwater, but that area gets blasted by the sun every day, and it seems to be visited by more wind.
Underwatered Basil
And while the rosemary is overwatered, the wilted basil leaves tell me this plant is underwatered. Might also move behind the house, for the extra rainwater.
A New Philodendron Phalanx
Last, but certainly not lease, it is my pleasure to introduce to the world a whole new leaf! After many weeks of mourning Frank, Bill has produced his first new leaf since entering my home. We are all so very proud of Bill.
