My hoard of plants has been steadily growing, and I am starting to comprehend just how many individual plants I’ve acquired. Watering Day came around and I found myself a little overwhelmed by the multitude of assessments I had to make regarding if each plant was in need of hydration.

You know what I did to self-sooth? Acquired more plants. Genius.

To be fair, one acquisition spontaneously turned into four when a kind neighbor offered me propagation riches from her growing garden.

And now, I will introduce them all….in song form!

A little bit of Monica in my life,

Spearmint plant

A little bit of Erica by my side,

Ground cover, most likely Sedum Sarmentosum

A little bit of Rita’s all I need,

Raspberry bush cutting

A little bit of Tina’s what I see,

Basil cuttings in frosted transparent pink jar, through which can be seen the silhouette of roots

A little bit of Sandra in the sun,

Lemon Thyme

A little bit of Mary all night long,

Two Philodendron Dark Lord cuttings and one Philodendron Tortum wet stick propagation cutting

A little bit of Jessica here I am

Drooping rosemary stems

A little bit of watering makes Jessica thrive again

Erect rosemary plant
